PrimeDesign's SAVVIS protected service network is an advanced IP (Internet protocol) fiber-optic backbone in a controlled, protected environment with full back-up, redundancy, emergency provisioning and multiple Internet access points.

  • We use only the best and most reliable brands of hardware to provide the best services to our customers. Our servers are Compaq ProLiant ML370 G3 Xeon 3.06GHz/2MB Cache, 2GB DDR RAM, 146GB UltraSCSI Hard Drive, designed for a 24/7 web serving environment.
Spare Servers
  • For every 3 production servers we keep 1 online spare server. If a production server fails, it will be immediately replaced with a spare server, and the latest backup will be restored. In this way, PrimeDesign can offer you a 99.9% uptime guarantee.
Hardware Commitment
  • We are committed to providing the best hardware equipment to our customers. Therefore, we constantly upgrade our servers with the latest technologies available. This is what makes our server performance more consistent than the one of the other hosts! An absolute advantage for your website!
     
  • Our automated monitoring system allows us to keep track of the status of our servers in real time and also keeps a log of their past state. SNMP monitoring is set up remotely from several locations around the world to our servers. This allows us to spot any major connectivity issues and act early to resolve them as soon as possible. Additionally, each server collects data about the services running on it (web, MySQL, FTP, mail, etc.), and reports it to the monitoring system every minute. Any values exceeding the predefined thresholds trigger an alert to our 24/7 support team about a possible problem with the particular server. Our support staff then investigates any such occurrence, and makes sure everything is working properly. This design of the monitoring system allows us to detect any problems at the earliest posisble moment, and take immediate measures to fix them.
     
  • All minute-by-minute data for each server is kept in a log, which allows us to follow a server's status in the past, analyze its behavior, and follow up any issues that our customers may have experienced.
